We were just notified by Bruceville-Eddy that Friday’s game has been cancelled. All other Chilton ISD activities will continue as planned. Please continue to be vigilant in following all health protocols so that our student-athletes will have the opportunity to participate in activities.
In an effort to promote community health and wellness, the Chilton ISD has partnered with Walgreens to offer a flu immunization clinic for the greater Chilton community on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The clinic will take place at the Chilton ISD Athletic field house located on State Hwy 7 in Chilton, TX. In order to best serve our community, please follow the link below to complete the attached registration. This document will be used to ensure adequate preparation for the clinic.

Seniors: The FAFSA (application for college financial aid) is now a REQUIREMENT for graduation in Texas. We will provide 2 dates for it to be done at school with the assistance of a college representative. Due to covid, only 1 parent and 1 student will be allowed to attend. Oct 21st or 28th @ 6pm in the high school library, please plan to bring your charged chromebook and your tax info from 2019. You may also do it on your own ahead of time, but you MUST show Ms. Lipsey proof of completion so that you can be cleared for graduation. Tomorrow begins Homecoming 2020. Though we are modifying some activities, we are planning an awesome experience for Pirate Nation. Our dress up days are as follows:
Monday: Pajama Day (as we prepare to put the Longhorns to sleep)...pajamas must be appropriate
Tuesday: Jersey Day
Wednesday: Dress To Impress
Thursday: Throwback Thursday: dress from your favorite decade
Friday: Pirate Pride
We are planning a parade and outdoors pep rally on Thursday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. We will follow the traditional homecoming parade route. We will culminate with a fireworks spectacular. Social distancing, screening, and face coverings will be required. Help us celebrate our rich Pirate Legacy.

JH Volleyball will travel to Oglesby on Thursday, September 10, 2020 for a 5:00 p.m. competition. In addition, the JV football team will travel to Troy to compete against their 9th grade team. The game will begin at 5:00 p.m. in Troy.
HS Volleyball and Varsity Football will be at home on Friday, September 11, 2020. Please purchase your tickets online at www.chiltonisd.org.

Good Morning Pirate Nation,
Earlier this week the University Interscholastic League (UIL), issued a stern warning to all districts failing to meet compliance with preventative expectations due to COVID-19. To ensure that our student-athletes are not penalized due our failure to enforce these guidelines, we want to ensure that all spectators are aware and have access to the Chilton ISD expectations regarding fan attendance during our sporting events. Please understand the following:
1. All events will require a ticket.
2. Egress and regress will not be permitted.
3. Temperature screenings will be mandated.
4. Entry will be denied if a face covering is not worn.
5. All seating will be marked. Please only sit where there is no blue tape.
