Parents,
As you are aware, all junior high students (grades 6 - 8) were provided five books for our summer reading enrichment program. The focus for our enrichment program is to provide engaging reading materials for all Chilton ISD students, not attending summer sessions, to minimize impact of summer slide on academic progress. Our middle school program kick-off is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will kick this program off with a SPLASH at the Chilton ISD Secondary Campus. Please come dressed appropriately; however, please wear clothing that you are able to get wet. Lunch will be provided for all students in attendance.
Though the kick-off will be on campus on Wednesday, June 9, the program is designed to allow students to engage with the enrichment reading at their homes throughout the summer.
If you need transportation for your student on Wednesday, June 9 for the kick-off SPLASH event, please complete the google form, at the link below, by Tuesday, June 10, 2021. Thank you for helping us to provide enriching activities for our students over the summer break.
